Hey people, did you hear the news? The NME says that Glasgow is cool! Wow, by jimminy, we've waited all our lives for this. I predict that 2004 will be the year where there's one of them there feeding frenzies down in Weegieville where Glasgow's 'artschool' chic is cartoonised and dry fucked and paraded as 'the way things are', the way Liverpool was this time last year, the way Manchester was way back when...

Thing is, I've hung out in Glasgow for the past 8 years and I've not noticed it becoming any cooler than it already was. Isn't that odd?
