Laughing A haunting 80's revamp for xmas???

Just caught newsround on the box and a debate about the Xmas number one. Gobsmacked am I to find Mad World hovering in acoustic form and deftly haunting my memory. Even Ozzy, companion of my music collection and teen years, has a look in this time round. Curiosity got the better of my and found my Kazaa hunting Ms Parks only to discover her songs seem to only contain one verse and chorus and repeate for the appropriate number of poptastic cycles. I do hope the real album has whole songs on it, do the pop leaches think the kids are that stupid?

Some one once said 'your vote is your power' so for a giggle try this.

I did like the concept of stripping Mad World down, but I think it could have done with a more powerful vocalist.

Imagine Dave Gahan doing it, for instance - then it'd be a corker.........

I disagree dear heart. It's the very nonchalant telling of the lyric without angst and fire that magnifies the contextual reality of the core of the matter. This is indeed a mad world.

Would you suggest that The Smiths should re-record Hang the DJ with Bruce Dickinson?
