I think at my funeral I'd go for certain songs with stipulations over how I'd died. For instance, if I died happy and loved, I'd choose 'Plastic Palace People' by Scott Walker and 'Do You Realise?' by The Flaming Lips. If I died bitter and unhappy I'd go for 'Funeral Tango' by Scott Walker. Then again I could just go for 'Vicar In A Tutu' by The Smiths.
My Grandad was dying for years and hung on, so he had plenty of time to arrange things. His music was 'Me And My Shadow', in reference to the lung condition that did away with him. He also asked for 'OTHER END UP' to be written on the soles of his shoes.
So what about youse people? What would be your fitting end?

and then Joe Strummer and Johnny Cash doing "Redemption Song" when it's over so everyone leaves for the wake with a spring in their step, ready to have an amazing party!
