Computer problems....
For the second time, I open Outlook Express and six months' worth of messages from my inbox have simply disappeared. Has anybody any light to throw on this? Is it a virus? Is this something I can remedy? Can those e-mails be retreived?
Obviously, if anybody has been trying to get hold of me this weekend they should try again...

In the absence of any of our geek fraternity meantime, I can offer this -
Inside Outlook Express - Files and Settings - The OE Store Folder As far as I can tell your emails may well be stored somewhere on your system and OE has just forgotten where. If you find them I think you can then tell it where to look. Or maybe a System Restore would work? Then I would recommend ditching it altogether and downloading Thunderbird instead.
