i think too many modern pop stars view themselves in a 'rock star' sense even though the industry has changed so much that the 'rock star' image they are tryin to achieve by gettin all the drug publicity is now a cliche. The 70's rockstars which started the whole thing were goin against the grain doing what they did, but now drugs/binge drinking etc is so commonplace in society that really their not doing anything that most younger people in the western world dont already do anyway. Our country needs to wake up and realise the war on drugs causes more problems than it solves and a complete rethink of the governments approach towards drugs/users is the only way their gona make any progress, newspaper stories like this winehouse shit just reinforce the'respectable' peoples views that 'drugs are bad mmmkay'.
