May the third almost be with you and it looks like the Lib Dems may pay the price for cosying up with Blair's warmongers... could we wake up to an SNP controlled Scottish Executive on May 4th? What would the ramifications be of this? Is it a good thing? Is this the first step on the road to independence - and would that be a good thing? Or do you not care 'cuz the government always gets in hyukhyuk, yeah clever wording cheers....?

Alick Salmoned reminds me of Adolf Hitler, but fatter, a bit more anti-English, and sports a much less cool hairdoo.

One shall not be voting however as one does not believe in Democracy. It hasnt worked in Iraq so why should it ever work in Scotland?

Indepenance is only good untill you need a cuddle.

I'm going to vote Labour, who I don't have much time for, just to keep the SNP out of parliament. Fucking idiots. This year I'm not voting for, I'm voting against.

i too will be voting labour purely to keep the snp away from harm. they are ridiculous, they would bring scotland to economic failure if they went ahead with their plans for independence and it just makes me so angry. i quite like my infrastructure and trade ties with europe the way they are thank you very much.

Alex Salmond is a cunt. In this day and age we should be building links with other countries, not cutting them.

Plus when I was like 6 or 7 years old, he lent me £2 to play a bandit in a pub, clearly breaking the law by encouraging a minor to gamble, thus he is also a criminal and should not be allowed to stand.

EH?!??! The whole point is the SNP want to have BETTER links with the EU - at the moment we hold about as much sway in Europe as an English county, because as long as we're part of Britain, that's all we'll ever be - a glorified region of England.

I was under the impression that Labour's super-negative campaigning had failed to work for once. Do you people seriously have such a low opinion of your own country that you think breaking it from the chains of England would lead us to ruin? Have you ever stopped to think what exacly is going to cause this financial disaster? We're certainly no worse off for natural resources than any other nation of our size.

Although I've always been a staunch supporter of independence, I think the SNP have been really clever in this campaign, putting emphasis on the fact that getting them into power isn't the same as getting independence - you can vote for SNP and still want to stay in the union, it'll just be that you're voting in one of the few parties that is going to stand up for Scotland without having to answer to the London party base. Do you seriously think Jack McConnell has EVER disagreed with Tony Blair? (Not that he would actually get to speak to Blair directly when it's not the campagin trail- he probably has to go through the Secretary Of State For Scotland And At Least 5 Other Departments minister) I don't. I think we should be like Northern Ireland, where the London parties don't get a look in - can you imagine Alex Salmond and Tommy Sheridan as the main combatants in Hollyrood? It'd be the most exciting political debate EVER!

Alex Salmond has always seemed, to me, to be one fo the few honest people in politics, with a real passion for his cause. I don't know if most Scottish political broadcasters are pro-SNP, but he rarely seems to be caught out in interviews, and always manages to make a good case for his point of views. He'd be a much better First Minister than any of the useless wankers we've had so far.

I keep having Labour vs SNP arguments with my mate. It amazes me that young people today still hold any sort of respect for the London parties. We're all disillusioned with politics - SNP would be a massive fucking change, and thanks to devolution, you have the safety net of being able to vote them out next time if they do shite (which they won't) and still be a part of Britain - only then the London parties would think "shit, we're going to have to actually take NOTICE of those Jock cunts now."

Sounds like you've seen the Solidarity party political broadcast then?

What a work of genius. Not so sure of some of his policies, but you've got to love the boy.
