Marketing expert Jonathan Gabay has predicted that Jade Goody will benefit from the Celebrity Big Brother race row.

Gabay has explained that he expects the public to support Goody's attempts to rebuild her career over the next few months.

"Everyone loves an underdog and their fight back," he told the Daily Star. "We saw it with Kate Moss. She held her hands up and had the most amazing turnaround, where she ended up more powerful than she was before the scandal.

"It's because people looked at her and thought: 'You're a bit of a rebel, you break the rules and people are against you.'

"They think they are like that, too, so end up idolising her and buying into her brand again. Jade has the same opportunity - she's the underdog at the moment, but people will like her for that. If she manages her brand well over the next few weeks she'll come back stronger than ever."

Um, no, your inability to shut your fat gob, to the extent that you persistently verbally abused a woman who presumably offended you by being far more attractive, talented and level headed than you will ever be, and while doing so managed to be so stupid to not realise you were using racist remarks, ruined your life. Hopefully.

good lord being in rehab for being an uneducated, useless, annoying fuckwit! it beggers belief that but in this day and age of anyone with the ability to breathe becoming a television celeb then anything is possible.

Even better, one of Jade's accomplices, the ex-Miss UK or whatever, Danielle's agents are apparently bringing in police to investigate their client being 'misrepresented' on the show. Now I know they can edit it to make things seem worse but surely they haven't resorted to some form of digital film manipulation to make her grin evilly during Jade's rant and make her say 'She should f**k off home'....

bloody hell thats just nuts!!!! i was reading on another messagebored about how channel 4 set the whole thing up - 'go on jade go in and ruffle a few feathers...' there seems some logic in that theory since channel 4 clearly know the whole big brother thing is way way past its sell by date. it would seem the masses don't want to watch aimless toothless idiots sitting around a house anymore! good to see top gear beating it in the ratings last sunday an all!
