My big sister lovely her morten harket pillowcase, she wondered whether she'd be able to use it to sleep on, as she thought she might cut herself on his cheekbones. My little sister loved her littlest (hobo) present in the whole wide world... her wonder woman (ah ah) pin badge.

and as for me... betty graced the christmas table today, copious lashings of etienne du mont and glorious, actually sumptious, ice cream and truffles made the day even better.

However, the one thing that excited my day, the one little bit of pleasure was Blanche, Dorothy and Rose (along with my sister's dempsey and makepeace dvd) and to you mister boo i thank you.

I got season 3 of the Golden Girls on DVD to match my seasons 1 and 2. Craig Fudge, Jonny Lucifer and I have come up with the most fantastic GG drinking game, the rules of which are lengthy and which will guarantee to have you in the gutter in 20 minutes.

i had a drink along with dallas party last year that had the same effect, a golden girls party could be THE thing to do in 2007.

i'm sure there are more but i can't remember off the top of my head. the key to this game is to start with a large class of alcohol and a straw. there are varying amounts to drink depending on the frequency of the event, measured by fingers full. so someone saying something they're likely to say in every episode gets one finger full but if someone says 'i'm just glad we're all friends again' it's three fingers. it's a fun game. Craig and I tried it with pints of gin.

There's also drink along a aids, where you watch Rent and take a shot every time someone with AIDS sings.

- Daphne puts her hands on her hips. (Drink twice if she speaks with her hands on her hips).


Two Drinks

- If Fred and Daphne ever go off to explore alone.

- If Scooby Snacks are eaten.

- If Velma looses her glasses.

- If an episode ends without Scooby saying "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!"

My only issue with this game is that it involves hardcore drinking in the late afternoon, since that is usually when Scooby Doo is on. I mean, you're going to be fucked before Neighbours comes on...
