A film that documents the enigmatic songwriter Scott Walker will see a theatrical release next year. Scott Walker: 30th Century Man, directed by Stephen Kijak, will hit British theaters Feb. 17 from Verve Pictures. No American release for the rockumnetary has been revealed, though a DVD release is in the pipes. Scott Walker: 30th Century Man centers on a behind-the-scenes look at Walker's The Drift, (2006, 4AD), with interviews with Walker and musicians such as David Bowie (the film's executive producer), Damon Albarn, Johnny Marr and Allison Goldfrapp, among others. |
