Default Boopoll Of The Week!!! (67)

I was in town last week attending 'Go North' which seemed a wee bit quiet in parts but was amazing in others, including getting taken up to a misty old ruined castle near Stonehaven (anyone know the name? I keep forgetting) to hear Hobotalk whilst drinking large amounts of malt whisky, and watching The Very down at Kef. Did any of youse folk catch many of the free gigs during the week? Maybe you played - how did you find it? Did anyone attent the Soma School? Or perhaps 'Go Fuck' was the highlight of the week... Tell me do...

because i sadly had to miss meeting up with you patsy due to my shitty flu, from which i still haven't fully recovered, i also missed all of go north. it's been a crappy week, although today made up for it. spent it watching video interviews with my late great grandma who rocked the hee-hoose, and drinking cold, sparkling shiraz, which takes about 4 or 5 sips to get used to and then you're completely hooked.

I wanted to catch Alamos... but sadly was suffering from being a zombie. I had to play "Go Fuck" the next day so alas was sleep as soon as I was off the phone to my robot counterpart, Betabum.

I was informed you were smashed, Patsy. Did u get any cd's handed oot? Shaun Arnold was after one.

I saw three random bands at GN and they were dull as fuck, sounded like a blurry mixture of covers bands / pub rock / status quo blues rock shit / maroon 5 funk rock shit

Like Burnham I may have seen more if hadnt been aware that we had to play the main event on Friday and needed to reprogamme/recharge etc

Already looking forward to GoFuck2006
Maybe it will run for a few nights and pull together some of the best and most diverse bands in the North of Scotland.....hmmm

Peace Out
