Talking as you do over a half of mild with my peers, we ended up debating the merits of a particular song, and we all came to the same conclusion. What do you think it was.... and do you agree, peoples?

Hey Ya is the bestest pop masterpiece since then yup indeed, but I dont think its surpassed Groove is in the Heart. Maybe me judgement is tainted by history however.....
...cos me fondest memory of said tune is of being invited up to the decks of an ultra hip NYC discoteque in the lower east side. The DJ had lured me over cos he wanted to buy my Fred Perry. They are very rare in the states and seemingly cool for some reason. He had no cash as payment so instead said I could pick the next batch of records to play.....the first one I stuck on was Groove is the Heart....the club went berzerk.....NY hipsters filled the floor with sycopated shape forming dancing......twas a spectacle to behold. The magikal powers of Dee Lite! And this was only only a few years ago....hence a long time after the tune was released proving its fantastic timelessness |

Outkast are hip hop visionaries (remember those toys?) and 'Hey Ya' is like the top tier on the top of a wedding cake of musical excellence. Also it's one of the few good songs you're guaranteed to hear in the likes of Ministry, Priory, Espionage etc. for which I am eternally thankful.
