What really annoy's (sp) me is that you ca always expect that "Smells Like Teen Spirit" will always win pretty much every music award regardless...eg. MTV2 had top 100 VIDEOS. Who won? You guessed it...and I find it to be a really average video...ho hum.

So what's she like then? Is she totally fucked up, or has she rebelled against her parents and is a prudish born again Christian?

Kurt wouldn't have seen Courtney the way everyone else does now (love blinding him and all that) methinks so he wouldn't have realised what a bad idea letting her bring up a kid was. I've always viewed Kurt as a very interesting character who produced some brilliant music but always felt angry that he took the cowards way out and ended it all. I think Nirvana would've released some amazing music if he hadn't died but have a vague feeling he'd be doing slightly weirder music by now.

One opinion I've heard a lot is that it depends on how old you were when Nirvana exploded. Growning up with Nirvana seems to mean that a lot of people (myself included) hold him a lot closer to their hearts than people who were already 20 or so when 'Nevermind' came out.

Having praised him I can safely say the one thing I hold against him apart from him killing himself is the fact that had Nirvana never existed I wouldn't have to look at Craig Nicholls gurning on TV

answer number 4. just never really got nirvana or grunge at all really. seemed like pointless self pitying to me really. just wasnt my thing at all. and its true if ya kill yourself at the peak of commercial success its a surefire way to keep ya there for a lot longer than ya could of if u were alive.
