We are looking for some info on gig venues like Kef and Drakes in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Inverness etc (or anywhere else that can be recommended). Does anybody have any recommendation on venures, some contact info, websites?

Also, does anybody know of any message board sites like this one, that are based in the likes of Edinburgh/Glasgow etc?

Any help or info would be much appreciated!

yeah i just got details for around 20 or so venues in scotland for sending demos n stuff to

look on various bands websites, look at the venues they are playing, then type the venues into a search engine and voila

i put the ones up here but i cant be arsed cos its a lot of typing

Try gig guide. It lists lots of places but not all are where you wanna go.

Check out:

Glasgow: 13th note, nice n sleazy's, cathouse, king tuts.

Dundee: the new westport,

Edinburgh: Thee underworld at bannermans, whistlebinkies. the venue.
