best dj set i've ever seen/heard was when dj yoda played po na na's with giles. good times were had. but i don't go to much dj nights.

yes!! I saw him a couple of times there when the first cut and paste mix tapes had come out. Amazing, some of the best nights ever.
However, the last time I saw Dj Yoda at Kef it was really disapointing, what a lazy set . Hope he's back on form nowadays. On the strength of those early shows alone I would definitely recommend this.

I went to Korova last night to see dj Yoda. However he didn't show up, instead we got some long haired local playing pish tunes all night!!! I asked the bouncers a few times when he was coming on and they kept saying half an hour, I was in the club from bout 11 till 3 and it was the same dj on all night, and he was s**t!!! The last time I asked the bouncer he just ignored me and walked off...Looks like they advertised Yoda when in fact he was never even booked!! Not a good way to start a club, conning koonts. I wouldn't recommend it and I def won't be going back....

If this is true, then very poor show Korova.

However I assume the long-haired guy was Giles Walker, who is shit hot on most nights - there must of been a lot of pressure involved filling in for a headlining act who doesn't turn up.

It is true and perhaps I was being a bit harsh on dj, just not my kind of tunes...pissed off about yoda though! What a con....

The photos on Modern Image show a short haired DJ, who looks A LOT like Yoda. Sure he didn't show up?

Yeh amazing nyt, best nyt of d year so far by far. I think dat person dat sed he neva turned up must b makin it up 4 sum reason, it was obvious wen he came on without even lookin in the dj booth!
