Addressing a few concerns hopefully:

The programmer post has been filled temporarily. This is not a permanent situation and is being reviewed.

I cannot comment specifically on interview processes but I wouldn't listen to the talk surrounding jobs. It is not fair on all of the people who did apply for the positions to talk about it whether you know the full information of not. But you can rest assured that the most qualified people were offered the positions.

The website is with the designers and should be in place within the next few weeks.

In the meantime you can get information from Lemon Tree <LemonTreeAberdeen> (the old bebo site relaunched)
or Lemon Tree facebook (a new group).

Tickets are currently on sale at Aberdeen Box office

What's on details are available in the local press or from the Music Hall or HMT box offices - either the fold out brochure or the postcard listings.

We want to return the Lemon Tree to its heyday when it was a platform for new music and comedy; a breeding ground for up-and-coming talent of all kinds.

One of the ways we will do this is by reopening the studio and bringing back the kind of local drama and dance which once made the upstairs theatre a must-see in the city.

I hope they pull it off, the Lemon Tree used to be ace but it's been absolute gash for quite a number of years.

They should have got the 'lorelei' to play the opening weekend...

nothing says 'lemon tree's heyday' than one of the top bands from that time...

plus they are a local band, relevant to the scene and the past few times they played the lemon tree (during the 'return of the lorelei') the place was packed and the atmosphere was exactly the same as it used to be...

but shooglenifty?!?!? really?....

shooglenifty will probably pull in the folk crowd plus some people from out of town, they're pretty popular with the teuchters
They do stir up a good atmosphere live though, so it will probably be a good gig. The inclusion of Craig Hill makes me want to stab my eyes though. I HATE that guy.

I'm not sure they are actually going to relaunch their website... it may just be an extension of the existing Aberdeen Box Office one with current listings...

£12 sounds about right for King Creosote. Especially when you consider that Pictish Trail was £8 at the Tunnels recently.
