Default Thursdays in Exodus

We've been playing with the formats of our clubnights in Exodus recently in order to keep things fresh and ensure every night has its own identity. One of the major changes has been to drop the dance and glowsticks on Thursdays, and make it a straight-ahead indie night covering the best tracks from the last few years and all the latest indie hits.

It's the first time Exodus have ever offered an indie night on Thursdays, so we figured there may well be a market out there for it. This has been running for a few weeks now, and we're eager to get some constructive feedback from anyone who's been along to the night.

Indie music...at Exodus?! What a crazy world we live in!

And that wasn't constructive at all. I have Friday off so I shall maybe pop in Thursday night to check it out.

Isn't that the same as what happens on Fridays and Saturdays?

I couldn't be bothered with the walk to Snafu and went to Exodus as I was already in Triple Kirks a few weeks back. Actually, it's happened twice now in the past month or two... But that's irrelevant. Anyway, I quite enjoyed it, but I did miss the whole 90's dance music thing it had going. I thought it was something quite different for Exodus. A break from describing a night as Indie/Alternative. And I know there's the pop/electro night, but other than Tuesday every night just seems to blend into the other ones I'm at. That's probably just me though.
I guess now people who usually go on the busiest nights, who may have been put off by the general theme of Thursdays, will probably go along to it now.
Who knows. I don't own a business, I just know what I like.
That said, I'm not going to throw my toys out of the pram and stop going. I'll still continue to be in Exodus as often as before.

I went to exodus with some guys and we had a fucking great time, seemed like the majority of customers were either czech or polish - it was pretty dead but we had a fucking great time

Is this a move to get people away from Snafu on a Thursday, or something?
