Hi there,

I dont suppose any one out there knows how to go about enquiring about playing a gig at the Blue Lamp? I am looking for new places to play in aberdeen, and iv heard good things about it. Do they put on gigs regularly?

Any help would be muchos appreciated

However i was more interested in finding out if there are any promoters in aberdeen that put on shows in the blue lamp.

Has anyone reading this played there before? I've heard good things about it

Go speak to Sandy the proprietor, we played there about 5 times, no promoters, it was ace.

It is a good venue, many bands have told me that there's a good vibe and that they like the accoustics. There is a pillar centre right at front of the stage but from my observations bass players in particular like to lean against it while playing

I've played at the Blue lamp many many times with various bands and it hasn't mattered which one, always a great place to play (and drink). The atmosphere can be electric if you can get a good crowd in. As Pierre Von Mondragon says, speak to Sandy.
