I will be there, as part of the Pensioner's party with Mike, Graeme, RaguDave etc.

I'm also looking forward to hearing Kathryn and Amy again.

The Zimmermen were out in force, but what a brilliant night. Even when ill, Amy was excellent...I was most taken with her song about Patience. Kathryn was rivetting/scary/sensual to the point of doing me internal damage, and Gary Lucas was amazing.....fantastic slide work on his National Steel and old Gibson. Starting off with an Arthur Russell song won me over right from the start, and it just got better.

Big thumbs up to Hen for a night to remember

That's great!!! Nice to see he enjoyed himself as much as we did, and Hen obviously made him very welcome. Plus he's another convert to the Sawers Sisters cause

Just shows you that when top quality artists bother to come to Aberdeen,
the audiences however small really warm to them & it really does make a BIG
difference to the performance. The same has happened time & time again
Jason Ringenberg was totally knocked out by his reception recently & the amount
of artists we have promoted keep saying Aberdeen audiences are brilliant, kind & warm.

As an area, we should take advantage of these natural attributes???

I believe Hen will be seeing Gary tomorrow or Monday when Mr Beverley
will be meeting The Magic Band.
