i was not saying that the music was bad after those songs. just that in my opinion you cant beat L.A. woman. enjoyed la tristesse by the manics.

Wow...you should really come more often. When i put on those songs I was thinking "I'm so bloody sick of these tunes, i wish people would request something different".

I did have the feeling that I maybe peaked too early, but the night panned out pretty well, I think.

Best comedy moment...some bloke came up to me and asked "when are you going to start playing songs everybody knows? It's nae like Liquid or Espionage"

Having already played Beck, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol and Bloc Party, I just pointed out that the club was full, the dancefloor was jumping, and there was a huge queue outside, so I really didn't care what they do in those cesspools. He didn't go away happy, but, hey, whatever.

But it was a remarkably good run of songs - all before 12.50 too! Being only 1 of 2 people on the dancefloor to Magazine made it all worthwhile...
