God, I only want to hear that out of morbid fascination.

Billy Corgan sings on just one track. www.jimmychamberlincomplex.com is probably best avoided

Strangely, I didn't really hear too much of Saturday's setlist. Reception was very hectic and it's kinda quiet through there. I did hear Alkaline Trio, the Transplants and Green Day though. They made me smile.

i could only hear it from the large que outside which we abandoned after the bouncers let a member of staffs mates in......10 minutes after telling them they would have to wait like everyone else.

As we keep telling people - get there as early as you can!

The music's always a little bit more pleasing nearer the start of most DJ sets (to mine ears anyways) and you're much more likely to hear lesser-known or played tracks before 12 than if you come drunkenly stumbling up at ten to three proclaiming that everyone would love to hear Rilo Kiley when they're actually twenty minutes away from throwing up after jumping about too much to The Stone Roses...

And "early" doesn't mean 5 to 12 either. Have some consideration for the barstaff. It was bloody ridiculous on Saturday-5 deep at the bar at 12 o'clock, with three staff on (the rest were downstairs, obviously).

Think about it;free entry, comfy seats, good music, easy access to the bar-how can you do better on a Saturday before 12?

I think they really need to look at the way things are laid out in exodus. The crush at the bar is just ridiculous at times. Dunno how they could change it but there must be something they can do to make it better.

The problem is that if we increased the size of the bar area, we'd lose some of our capacity. Bigger bar=less people=catch 22. There used to be a second bar beside the DJ booth, but it was hard to get to and everyone gave up using it after a while. And it was isolated, so dragging bottle bins and fresh stock across the club was a pain in the butt.

There was some thought put into changing the layout last time there was a major refurb, but there was no practical way of moving the bar or extending it. It's a listed building, so hammering through walls etc. is a bit of a problem.

Maybe there could be little fridges in the DJ booth to sell booze to people from

"Where's Me Jumper and 2 bottles of Millers please!"
