It was supposed to be a take on The Day After Tomorrow, but through legal rights they wouldn't have been able to release it. After seeing all of the Marionette's be taken out of the thunderbirds film (which Matt and Trey thought was the best thing about the original Thunderbirds) they made their own Puppet-based comedy.
The Sets Are Massive Finally got round to seeing this film and it's got to be one of the funniest films of the year. It's a parody of everything you've even seen in things like Thunderbirds and Stingray. They way the characters move is one of the funniest thing about the whole film. Like everything else Trey Parker's done there's a lot of really funny and catchy songs. Trey parker does almost every voice for all the main characters and some are similar to other characters in films like orgazmo and south park. it's also got a Marionette sex-scene which is nothing short of pant-wettingly funny. It Even Has A Montage It pokes fun at heaps of famous people and stars from Matt Damon to Hans Blix and has heaps of references to other films like Kill Bill and the Matrix. The sets are all Massive and the scale of the movie is pretty amazing. Every death is funny and entertaining, but if you are offended by adult themes, puppet sex, vulgar & profane language, and ultimate irreverence. Please *do not* see this film. ![]() It's out on the 14th of January 2005. Go See This Film!!!! |
