Fiction/Action are always up for playing new places. Have a listen to us on Fiction/Action and see if we're the type of thing you're looking for. We've played with Forward Russia, Brigade and...erm, The Kooks, amongst others.
Cheers.

Exodus has lost its appeal for me, and has done for a while, when I first came here it was good and had a kind of niche appeal, but recently the "indie/alternative" thing has become popular and I find it too busy and in my opinion has lost the atmosphere it had three or four years ago. Just my opinion though, probably to do with getting older and a lot of people do like it. I had a really good night on New Years night cause it wasnt very busy and the crowd was more like what it used to be, havent been in since the refurb so cant really comment on that.
Exodus has always been really busy ! its part of the fun ! You always know that someone will be there. And the new refurb ahas just taken away the only probloem with exo ..that it was a bit grotty ...more guys toilet space would be nice though

I've been going to Exo for just less than 5 years (Christ, that makes me feel old) and as far as I can remember it's always been rammed.

My favourite night have always been the odd nights where there's slightly more room, I'm dancing like there's no tomorrow and Dave plays songs that I text to him in an abusive manner.

I've only been once since the refurb but it's still my favourite place in town (i just hardly go to clubs at all anymore).

My band, Killing Time, would be up for playing a student night. Our bassist Jan knows holly and apparently she told us she'd get us a gig but we've not heard anything else about it.

Theres a couple of our songs on there if you care for a listen.
