I was expecting radicial changes, but it's pretty much the same, if not slightly better.

Downstairs is nicer, although it feels a bit like a Blackpool arcade, what with the multi-coloured lights and the grab-a-prize machine in the corner.

Upstairs hasn't changed much at all in layout, mirrored bar is rather nice, I like the glittery DJ booth and the comic-book toilets. The thing around the dancefloor is ridiculous, it just means that there's only two rather narrow paths to get through the room, although I suppose it will stop people dropping drinks on the dancefloor.

The biggest improvement for me is the fact that there's now tables, chairs and heaters outside. All I need now is to be able to take my drink outside and I have no complaints about that. It's a very nice little area they've created.

Overall, not a massive change but one for the better. The place in general feels somewhere between a Blackpool Pier attraction, a Turkish Hareem and one of the nightclubs in Vice City.

Somebody buy a big cover for the outside area when not in use. Looks like a someone dropped half a dozen budget 'exterior design manuals' and went with the pages that were open! An over designed shambles. Thankfully most of it wont be seen for punters when the warmer weather comes in.
