Snafu have entered a number of catagories from this year’s SLTN Awards, being held in October.

The main one is Nightclub of the Year. The award ceremony takes place at the Hilton in Glasgow on Thursday 26th October 2006.

Snafu is nestled at the Castlegate end of Aberdeen’s historic mile-long Union Street. Our little boutique nightspot is the premiere destination for a wide array of sophisticated electronic and live sounds. A favourite of those in-the-know, our cosy nook has managed to attract an array of international talent, not to mention residents such as Harri (Sub Club – Glasgow), the Unabombers (Electric Chair – Manchester), Funky Transport (20/20 Vision, Classic) and Dee J A’La Fu (Big Dada).

Our delectable range of spirits and cocktails, served impeccably by our professionally-trained and friendly staff leaves you with that fuzzy feeling of being a member of our family (albeit the drunken Uncle, but nevertheless still family)!

Popular clubnights include the Dirty Hearts Club every Thursday, which has recently featured the likes of The View and The Needles, all highly acclaimed from the likes of Radio 1, Radio 2 and NME. Upcoming acts include the Little Kicks and Rumble Strips.

Early evening entertainment includes live jazz on a Friday between 6pm and 8pm. Entry is free and complimentary nibbles are provided.
