Default Going solo...where to play ?

I want to go solo, playing lead guitar and singing to backing tracks. Covers mainly from 60's to noughties. Trouble is I have absolutely no idea who to contact in either Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire. Anyone have any ideas ?

Old King's Highway or other dives around Market Street and the surrounding area.

Beware though, Tommy Dene may get his heavies onto you for muscling in on his turf.

Default Going solo...where to play ?

F.Y.I. Tommy Dene has ceased playing the Kings Highway. The N.M.E. failed to report this, so gigs a plenty in Market street area,
IE: Wilsons, The Lorne bar, Snuggery. + various "Anti Social" clubs, IE: The Portland, TUC, Etc, Etc.
Have fun.
