Default Beach Ballroom Gigs
Hey folks,

As some of you may know my band Kashmir Red are playing the Beach Ballroom on August 22nd as part of the Live At The Beach gigs.

Providing this is a success the venue are hoping to start putting on more regular local bills and i have been asked if anyone who is interested in playing the venue to email Ray Douglas at beachballroom@aberdeencity.gov.uk.

The next possible date they are looking at, at the minute is Novemeber 13th.

I hope our and future evenings are a success as its such a great venue and is possibly one of the best in town.

I would have to double check but i think it holds 1100.

However they can alter it to make it smaller. Though i'm not exactally too sure how they do that.

Have seen NYJoS there years ago, also played with the Uni big band a few months ago as part of a charity gig...

It is really nice, with a big stage. Will probably contact the guys there at some point, but you'd need to have a big following/potential audience to make it worthwile!

Played a function there once (Aberdeen City Education ACE awards or something) - full of snobby pricks but it was decent sound (except the solo guitar).
