i did it two years ago. its a good course, IF its still the same then the tutors (Andy, Tristan, Peter) are cool aswell. live sound night is always fun, the studio stuff is ace of course, but the creative industries infrastructure unit is quite tedious (no offense tristan, btw you owe me a big muff.... i think) You might also get a chance to learn from Niall Mathewson (?) from the mill recording studio, another great guy.

if you want to get a job doing live sound, just be prepared to be 'pro-active' about trying to get a job afterwards. You cant just hand in a CV to these places and sit back and let them call you etc. if theres one thing creative industries infrastructure did teach me, its that you have to go out there and make a name for yourself.

i on the other hand wasnt very pro active and am still sitting in an asda petrol station day after day, two years later. deesk!
