Post Hardcore/Scraemo or Powerpop - aberdeen-music

Hey, Im looking to join/start a band.

Thinking of either a screamo/post hardocore along the lines of A Day to Remember, the Yashin or the Blackout, just to give a few examples.

Or id be equally willing to do something a bit more Powerpoppy, as in the likes of Twin Atlantic, You Me At Six, Paramore...........

Probably would like to start with some covers. But id like to take it on to writing our own original material. Wouldnt be against going in at the deep end and straight into own stuff though if i teamed up with someone with more experiance. Also the above are just a couple of ideas ive had, but im into a wide variety of music so if your into similar stuff try me.

Im a 19 year old guitarist, I got some interest, but quite possibly looking for the whole rest of the band, or a decent offer

Looks like its gonna be a hardcore band of some form based on the responses ive had so far.

And also i might have limited internet access over the next few weeks so dont get offended or anything if i dont get back to you straight away.
