Hey there. We are new students at Aberdeen University, and are interested in forming some sort of musical collective.
We put an advert up in 1 Up Records, but also thought it would be good to put something here.
Instead of giving a long essay about long walks on the beach - basically, we listen to a lot of the following:

Rachel's
M83
Rites Of Spring
Explosions In The Sky
Slint
The Dismemberment Plan

Those were the artists listed in the advert. Obviously we listen to a lot more, but we didnt want to get carried away.

Hey man, thanks a lot for your reply.

Hopefully we will get something together soon. We are tying to mix post hardcore with post rock - i mean, as much as we hate using genres, especially the cliched ones, it does make it easier.
