Default Blues
Is there anyone here who plays bluesy rock? I'm an 18 y/o guitarist who mainly plays kinda SRV/Hendrix influenced blues but i cant really find anyone else who also shares my interest. If anyone shows interest i am mainly interested in just jamming and maybe going on from there- looking for basically a bassist, drummer and prob another guitarist who is more rythm orientated- i would say im more lead, oh and a singer as well- a singer/rythm guitarist would be ideal Im still at school so prob lookin at evening/weekend practise sessions.

Any details like a rehearsal room amps etc is pointless to talk about untill people start replying.

C'mon people! Put some Stevie Ray on and get inspired, there must be someone apart from my guitar teacher that plays blues in this metal/punk infested city.

Well at least that last comment might inspire SOMETHING sigh...

I might be interested. I'm not sure what exactly you're after, but I do like a little blues and write some bluesy rock stuff. Could always jam and see what happens

I could do a bit of both. If the other guitarist interested was willing to do a switch around every so many songs, then I wouldn't mind that. If not I guess I could play bass, as long as I'm involved in the song writing.

That sounds fine to me, i would think that everyone would be involved in the songwriting not just the guitarists. So i guess we are just looking for a drummer now.

I'm liking the sound of this so far . I'm a 17 year old drummer (still at school) and would be really up for some Hendrix style bluesy rock. Would it be covers? or original stuff?
