Many years ago I played in a cracking 9 piece acid jazz band called shift. I would love to have another bash at a similar kind of thing. Looking through these forums I don't feel too optimistic.
Any funky drummers, guitarists,keyboard/hammond players, jazz influenced horn players out there leave a note. I'm 31 & play bass btw... ps.. for the benefit of the hard of thinking... my avatar is not me, it's John Patitucci |

I might be interested (keys). Dunno if you know d-boy or Gogs Ritchie (Lifestyle) but we did a few acid jazzesque things under the name 'The Mindset' . You might have heard either 'get set' 12" out on afroarts a year or so back and a jazz house thang 'zeroali' on acid jazz the year before. I can send u a cd of loads of other tracks we did so you can hear where i'm at musically if ya want. |
