Hmm I never really thought about how good this forum could be, just rambling on about guitars, *cue pointless story*

Yeh so I got a free Ibanez RG 270 DX the other week, which was pretty nice.

The catch.

It's in appaling condition, it needs a complete overhaul, so the plan is.

1. Disable the shitty Floyd Rose, only one way (all that's really neccesary), using bit of wood and more springs.

2. Resolder jack wiring (about to come apart) and fix jammed nut (it's on squint and won't come off)

3. Complete set up ie. bridge saddle height, intonation etc.

4. Get new strap holder (the top one is missing)

5. Replace neck and bridge pickups..
