Default Boss NS2 pedal

Does anyone use the Boss NS2 pedal - i am thinking of getting one to reduce feed back - what do people think ?
is it any good?

never heard of it. Why not try turning the gain on your amp down?

i think they are supposed to be decent

i have heard more about the mxr smart gate, so that would be my choice

why not turn the gain on your amp down - good answer.
infact - why dont i turn my amp off, i think that might sort the problem out.

Nah, you use a noise suppressor between your pedals and your amp so if you have distortion on (from a pedal) and then have a pause, there's no hiss or feedback in the quiet bit. Hope that clears it up.
