Fit Like!

I recently bought a Classic player Thinlline Tele and to be honest after a set up it plays and sounds fine but the components are shite.

Ive changed the jack socket and once my pal gets back from hols im getting it rewired and the pots changed.

I was away to change the toggle switch but theres more wires in the original switch than there is in the new one im putting in. The original is a mad looking long thing (See my technical skills) and the one im putting in is a standard Les Paul type.

The body is routed for this shape im not trying to put a Les Paul style toggle into a strat hole!!!

Id be most grateful if anyone could give advice on how to wire it, i can do the soldering no probs if im shown what goes where.

I was going to wait for my mucker to do it but ive fucked the original and would like to use it before he gets back.

split coils? why so many wires? You should only have 2 wires coming from each of the pickups, wire the black ones to ground and then solder the remaining wires to the lugs of the toggle, and then on wire out of the goggle to the jack. done.

Its not like any toggle switch ive ever seen its almost a L shape there's 4 lugs on it with, a green, black, red, white and an uncovered wire going to it.

I just want to fit a standard les Paul style toggle with 3 lugs.
