Default oops...

Just bought a boss DD-3 on ebay...

by accident.

I do want the pedal, but i didn't give it much thought before i put my maximum bid down and got it for £62+5 for delivery, they're nice wee pedals but wasn't too keen on parting with my cash.

Was the pedal worth the cash?

I gave them a go, but i did decide i wanted to keep it simple, they just felt way over the top when i was playing around with one in RnB.

Well the DD-3 has less extensive options. My recent songwriting has had a lot of ambient soundscapes so the DD-7 is perfect for that. The DD-3 has fewer choices but what it does, it does very well. Worth it I'd say. You certainly won't regret owning it, at any rate. You could have picked it up cheaper, though.

Stick with it cos its a great pedal. If you want, I will email you some mods for it if you wsnt more options. It involves drilling a new switch or 2 on the face but guves you different delay options and can give you the same analogue option as the DD7

lame drummer, are you ex lame guitarist? you still doing mods on other pedals?

r.e. this pedal, its a 1 trick pony and only 1 of the modes are actually any use. I'm not totally endeared and I find it only works very well for bland, sparse post rock.
