Hi all,

A friend of mine has asked me post this on his behalf. His bass was stolen from a church on Holburn Street a couple of weeks ago, it's probably long gone by now but it's pretty eye-catching, if anyone spots it anywhere please give me a shout. Cheers!

It's a Green Samick FN55, 5 string bass, Fairlane series, as pictured below:

Stolen from a church? I'm not a regular church goer, but I still think that's a bit low, maybe in a Highlander "holy ground" kind of way.

Has he been checking Crime Converters, ebay, gumtree etc.? Does he have a note of the serial number?

Also try putting a post up on basschat.co.uk, if it's gone further afield then maybe someone might have spotted it.

Nah looks like it's a gonner. I don't know if it was nabbed by a fellow church goer, or some opportunist nipped in the door and saw it, more likely the latter I'd say. Either way, he hasn't got it back.
