Default tele neck pickup - 13-03-2008, 19:53

can anyone tell me if a tele neck pickup fits into a strat (neck) without any modifications?

p.s. has anyone noticed that the musicians corner isn't really a corner? It's the same shape as the rest of these forums.

but a tele bridge pickup wouldn't fit into a strat? what with the screw holes (haha) being in a different place and having a different amount. Am I just being dumb here?

it didn't really cost that much, I was just making myself seem really rich incase any totally hot birds were enticed by the thread title 'tele neck pickup'.

p.s. If your hot, I'm rich

oh thats true, there are some tele pickups with odd shaped fitments. but i guess it depends on the tele as well as you get the ones that you can put in strat pickups

I don't have a tele. I have a strat and I want to know if a tele pickup will fit into it. I haven't chosen a model yet because I don't know if it will fit.

sorry meant to type strat!

there are some seymour duncan tele pickups that should fit into a strat, maybe still need a small bit of filing tho.
some cracking strat pickups by bareknuckle pickups and seymour duncans are good. its personal taste like but you cant exactly try before you buy with pickups!
