Tonal qualities from an acrylic guitar?

I see Robb Flynn playing an acrylic BC Rich and Dave Grohl using an acrylic guitar too.

Some people have seen my "piss block" acrylic guitar.

For some reason, it has a nice neck and I quite enjoy playing the thing.

Crazy idea part...putting an EMG-81 into it? Thoughts?

I think an EMG would suit Hog better, plus it's more generic sounding regardless what it's put into (I don't want to start debate with this comment, as I'm well aware of the fact you can hear differences with the same EMG in different guitars, however it does very much retain a clearly audible 'similar sound') whereby passives accentuate the tonality of the piece of wood (or in this case, acrylic) at hand. As it's not the greatest quality of instrument, I think that a good passive would be wasted on it if ya see where I'm coming from.

if no it would be harder modifying an acrylic guitar to accept a battery than a wooden one methinks

Daft idea. Instead of being a cheapy, Im buying a new guitar. The pissblock has had its day.
