Question 12v simultaneous 8 track recorder and cdr

Hi we're samssauna.com and run the magic hat sauna and hot showers that travels round the festivals during the summer. As we have so many brilliant jam sessions in the relaxation area we'd like to be able to record them. At present we do to a certain extent with minidiscs. What we need is a recorder that will operate on a 12v dc supply (varying from 11.6 when batteries are flat up to about 13.5 when the suns on our solar panels). We need to be able to record up to about 8 tracks simultaneously as most of the recording we want to do is of casual jam sessions and we can't tell the guy in the wrong key to shut up so we need to be able to dial them out later. Then we'd like to be able to burn a cd or3 to give to the players. We don't want to use our laptop as it draws to much power. Any suggestion for what machine we want and where to get one is welcome
