Default Buying a new 7 string/baritone guitar?

Im going to be buying a guitar in the next couple of weeks. Looking to play in G.

Jimmer 106 aka Angel of Death recommended a Baritone ESP although Im rather drawn to the Stephen Carpenter black 7 stringer or the natural finish version with EMG's.

Any other thoughts regarding decent 7 stringer's baritones...even Ebay deals. I would simply like something that can handle going to G and staying in G. Also it has to sound heavy as fuck.

6 string baritones are an option but I like 7 because I come out with really weird chords.

I think you should learn to play before you splash out on some decent gear that will be neglected with devin townsend kerrap

What sort of budget? Do you want a trem?

I would personaly be tempted by an Ibanez RG1527 with a pup swap. Or if you have a bit more money the UV777P or K7.

Perhaps.

How much does it cost?

Only problem I can see with that is that it has a basswood body.

Hog, go for the original and best 7-string, the Gretsch Van Eps
