So whats everyone bought themselves this year to add to their set up?

Personaly ive just bought a Slingerland Radioking snare drum a beaut if i do say so myself

fuck, this thread has only served to remind me that i cracked my ancient zildjian ride on friday. that's me with 2/3 cymbals broken now, and a snare that's always on the edge

Over the next 12 months, I should be:

- upgrading my Paiste PST 5 set up to a full compliment of the Rude range (keep your eyes on the classified section).

- replace my Iron Cobra's with Axis pedals (finally).

- acquire a Manu Katche signature snare.

I reckon I'll buy some new strings and plectrums this year....

I got a digital 8 track from Santa. I still don't know how to use 90% of it, but I can record with it at the moment...

Slightly unusual choice, but good... I take it that's a new one, not vintage? What made you go for one of them?

my new tech 21 programmable bass driver is woop le nice

compressor of some sort soon. not sure whether to go rack or pedal (anyone know what they are talkign about??) i have a 6u rack and a mesa 400+ in it, if i stick another rack in it there is a danger of it overheating as there are 16 valves in that bloody thing

Good choice. The Manu sounds fantastic (one of the guys I work with has one).

This year I'll buy either a Dean USA Razorback or an ESP RV of some sort (still undecided as to which). Probably a few more pedals of sorts (if anything good comes out that interests me).
