Default Amplifier Advice

I need to purchase a new amplifier for myself but I have no idea on where to start, as my only previous one was a Christmas present when I was 12.

I am not looking for any particular amplifier that produces a good sound for metal, indie, whatever, I just want something that I can use myself for fun and is relatively cheap. Also, I don't want to purchase anything over the Internet.

Thanks, David

Perhaps a Roland Cube would meet your needs, home use only? There's plenty for sale in Bruce Millars.

I have a Line 6 Spider II 212 for sale. 150 watt 2x12 combo. Lots of effects, channels etc.

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/revie...spider_ii_212/

^ That has reviews of it. The Line 6 page is undergoing maintainence.

£150 for it.

£348 retail when I bought it (think it's still the same?).

PM me if interested.

James

I've got one of these, and it does the business. Get any sound you want and a bundle of built in fx.

Beats shit out of Marshall for value for money.

On sale in Brucies as far as I'm aware. Nip in and give it a whirl.

i believe there are huge price cuts coming on this soon or now as the Spider III is out soon.

... so you may have to lower your price james, sorry.

though i would agree with the reccommendation of that amp.
