Default WEM Copicat - Does anyone have one?

I have just received this as a birthday present, and it has got me rather scunnered. Having a quick look on the internet, I've not found much useful advice about the best way of using it. Does anyone have any tips on getting a good tone out of it? Do's and don'ts etc...

If anyone knows a good website related to copicat's it would be much appreciated.

I have one, but I haven't used it for at least 20 years.

I remember that there were 3 buttons, different combinations of which gave you different echos, plus volume and swell controls. You can also make your own longer tape loops, and send them to bottles etc to create longer echos (although I was never that adventurous).

Thanks Alan, I'm going to have another go at it after work today, but I have a funny feeling there might more problems with it other than me getting confused by it...

I might just dig mine out from the loft and get it going. Latterly I was making my own loops, but I see from that website you can still order them.

I keep looking at those on ebay. They always go for well over £100 so I never get them.
