find some shops in London who have websites and order one from them. you can easily get £100 of the list price if you look.

i have a squier p-bass, thinking of upgrading this year tho. their your best bet for under £150 in Aberdeen

R&B have some rather nice looking Precision and Jazz bass copies just now. I can't remember the make but they look like good copies and the feel of them was quite nice. They were around £170 or so I think.

I'd consider a Squire P-Bass special, also Vintage & Westfield basses ain't bad. I've always liked the tanglewoods, they good?

*remembers i can get a lot of discount from the school*

DO NOT GET A COPY.

you'd rather have the real thing.

No he wouldn't cause he jsut wants a cheap bass...

Here's some deals for you...

Epiphone EB 0 SG Style Bass £169
Hey at least it's original as not many ppl have one it seems.

Ibanez GSR205 £199
It has 5 strings! And a thin easy to play neck. I have the more expensiver SR version and it's super...if you can stretch to £199 then this bass is sure to be a winner.

Ibanez GSR200 £179
Same as above but with 4 strings. A thinner and even easier neck to play. It's a snip at £179.

Peavey Dynabass 4 and 5 £169 and £179
Quite cool looking, much in the same vein as the Ibanez.

Squier Affinity P-Bass Guitar £139
You know what it is, cheap and looks like a P Bass...sunburst version for £149.

Squier Standard Jazz Bass P-Bass Special both at £179
A bit better quality the affinity and a J bass version available...10 time better looking than a P-bass in my opinion.

There is also a 5 string of the P-bass version available too at £195.

Washburn XB100 £169
Don't know much about this.

Yamaha RBX170 £149
Noted for the cheap yet fantastic Pasfica guitar hopefully their basses have the same relativly high standards.

Yamaha RBX270 £179

Yeh the Epiphone is nice, but I read it ain't a full size bass, looks kool anyhow. I think I'll place bets on a Squire but not an affinity series, or one of the Yamahas coz I know their good and trust them. I'll keep an eye out for a RBX 370 second hand, if not might get a brand new 270. Cheers everyone
