Default MXR Blue Box

I borrowed on of these a while back and thought it was amazing....

Anyway, does anyone around these parts have one i could test out before i delve into buying one?

Im not sure if the Blue Box is the one i was thinking about, was an MXR and it was Blue and had some sort of octave control.

Anyone willing to help?

Also does it take a 9v supply from a powerbank?

Cheers.

Yes, it is a Blue Box.

Sorry, I don't have one.

If it's any help, Dunlop Reissue MXR pedals can take a 9v DC supply but need a jack tip plug, not barrel.

Cool stuff, where do you get those little adapters that go from the barrel type power to jack tip, Maplin?

Also, is this the beast that i am after.....?http://www.stagebeat.co.uk/product.p...source=froogle

That's the pedal.

I couldn't find the power lead connectors in the Maplins online catalogue but I use this to connect up my Dunlop MXR Dynacomp

I think you plug it into your powerbank lead, so it makes the lead a little long, but hey, cant complain. Although i have seen them come straight from your powerbank, i used one on a Rat pedal once.

that'd be ideal cos i've got a 5-pedal board and 2 are EH pedals which don't use the same conectors ao it gets a bit messy! that'd be sweet!
