Question harmonica mics.
is a special mic required for a harmonica?

...if so. any ideas where i can pick one up?

...and do local venues usually have them or would i have to provide my own?

Most band's i've seen playing with a harmonica just press the 'monica up to the vocal mic's, after all they're not exactly quiet wee instruments.

i dont think you would really need a harmonica mic, just use a normal vocal mic...

This is used a fair bit:
Shure Green Bullet Microphone
Shure Green Bullet Microphone | Dolphin Music.

I've seen a couple of ace touring groups use these but most of the time people just use a vocal mic or whatever is on hand.
