Eeek! Plectrums

Does everyne use them, if so - what kind and why?

for guitar i use sharkfin plectrums as they are very flexible and never snap, i use them for my bass for the same reasons.

Purple Roto Sound or Purple Tortex Dunlops...1.14mm, nice and hard for playing bass. For guitar the green tortex or the yellow. I have also played with these cool picks that have a plastic tip and a rubber grip....quite cool.

For bass its purple Dunlop 2.0mm picks. Really heavy and they don't bend. And guitar ones are smallish Gibson heavy ones.

For bass, Dunlop Tortex .88mm picks. I like the way there's a certain give in them, 'cos they're thin.

Me too. I think they're thick enough for fast riff playing but thin enough to give the strings a bit of a thrash or play bass chords.
