Some recomendations on turntables please? Looking to replace my old set so I can get listening to some vinyl again. Not looking to spend too much. Also recomendations of where to buy from aswell. Cheers!

Nice decision Tav!

I'd look at the Project turntables which range from around£100 to £1000, they get great reviews. There is the Project Debut for around £130 I think and it is highly rated, I'd check them out.

Hmm perhaps...the problem is that it is a two prong plug and requires 250volt/6amp fuse. Perhaps I can get an adaptor with an earth wire or something.

When you say turntables are you talking about DJ decks for mixing or a hifi turntable? If it's a hifi one you are looking for I'd recommend Project. I've a Project (2.0 I think) with a good quality cartridge and the sound is so much better than my signature model Marantz CD player.

Look second hand in the likes of Holburn Hifi.....
