Never paid too much attention to them the first time around, then went back and listened to the first album after seeing them at the Celtic Connections thing at Glasgow and really enjoyed it.

As much as I like the their normal MBV-esque guitar stuff I really liked the stripped down versions of the songs on 'Here It Never Snowed. Afterwards It Did' with all the fan organ and the light percussion.

Haven't got the new album yet, it's on my 'next to purchase' list.

I am pretty much echoing other peoples' thoughts, but I was wary after the constant re-releasing of old material. So, it is a very good thing that the album is quite brilliant. There is quite a Joy Division tinge to some of the songs on the new record.

They were fucking brilliant when they played with Kartta at the Tunnels.

not big on the first album but i like this one - only listened once through but im currently on 2nd listen and this is due to continue to 3rd/4th et al

Fuckin' A - glad people are digging the new stuff. That time they played The Tunnels...I've yet to see them play better; they were fucking perfect that night.

I find it hard to get on with singers who are obsessed with letting the listener know which country they are from.
