Default The Flaming Lips - Embryonic

This album is awesome. Such a great suprise to since I wasn´t expecting much after the disappointing "At War with the Mystics".

Any other fans?

I just noticed its been put up on spotify today and after family guy i shall listen to it with a peppermint tea. im more a dabbler than a fan but been listening to some of their really early stuff on spotify recently and enjoyed it, was more familiar with the more recent albums.

I look forward to hearing it, especially after reading reviews stating that it is a lot more jam based and generally a noisier record than the previous few.

Still waiting for my hairy edition to arrive.

Anyone willing to offer transport to the Glasgow gig? I'm gonna have to be back in Aberdeen for 9 the next day!

I heard two songs by The Flaming Lips, decided I loved them and they were destined to be an obsession of mine, bought three of their albums, told all my friends I was totally getting into The Flaming Lips, then realised I didn't really like them that much. It was weird.

really like the new album, quite dark and experiemental in places, loud and noisy in others - good effort!
